How to recover a corrupt Lightroom catalog

A week ago I discovered my Lightroom catalog was corrupt. At the same time I also discovered that my latest backup of the catalog was two weeks out of date.

I was going to write a blog post explaining how I managed to recover my work, but realised it was probably going to make more sense to shoot it as a video. So that’s what I’ve done. The whole video is a little under 23 mins in length. If you are a Lightroom user it is worth taking the time to watch it as in it I explain the steps you need to take so that you CAN recover your catalog if it becomes corrupt… and you need to take those steps BEFORE disaster strikes!
